WNC Yerington has served area residents with high quality college education for more than 20 years. WNC offers students college courses that lead to associate degrees and certificates, as well as career preparation classes.

WNC staffs an instructional center in Yerington featuring an updated computer lab with 17 stations and an interactive video room. The college also offers classes at the county library, the Yerington Theatre for the Arts, Yerington High School, and at local businesses.

Many WNC students are adults seeking job skills or an upgrade in their careers. Others are high school students who take advantage of dual-credit college classes offered at Yerington High School each school year. Craft classes are quite popular with the Mason Valley senior citizen population. As Yerington is the county seat of Lyon County, WNC Yerington also provides periodic classes to county employees.
